Brendon, In the beginning your parents’ didn’t approve of the career path you chose, do they still disapprove now that you are successful?
A: No they are very supportive and love coming out to every show they can.
In New Perspective, there was a short screamo part. Is screaming featured on Vices & Virtues? And if not would you ever want to incorporate that in feature releases?
A: What’s screamo?
Are there any songs on Vices & Virtues you are especially proud of and/or are very special to you?
A: I’m incredibly proud of the album as a whole, but Sarah Smiles is one of my favorites. I wrote it for my girlfriend when first started talking, so I was able to win her over with a song. Not bad right?
I just heard Mona Lisa and it’s brilliant. What inspired you to write it?
A: That song as well as almost everything else on the record is really what Spencer and I have been going through the last couple of years, and while its not to be taken word for word it really tells a story of what we have been through. It was actually an idea I had on my laptop for a couple years and while writing for the album, I decided to work on it a little more and it turned into Mona Lisa.
How much are you guys involved with the art that is connected to Panic? (Like album covers, merch, posters, etc…)
A:We are very involved with everything we put out- it’s just as important as the music we record.
Between Chuck Norris and Bruce Willis… what do u think would be the one to win a battle throwing french fries?

If you could be in another band for 1 day, what band would it be and why?

If your life was a video game, what game would it be and who would you trust to play it?
A: Rock Band, and only myself.
How often are either of you recognized when you go outside? For example, can you walk your dog without pen and paper in your back pocket?
A: We are here and there. It’s very flattering to be recognized because i feel that i have added a song to the soundtrack of their lives.
What instrument did you learn to play first, when, and what was the first song you learned on it?
A: Drums and I don’t really remember, it was in band class though.
What was the last book you read and do you have any good book recommendations?
A: “Earth” by Jon Stewart. Definitely recommend it. We’re heading out on the road soon so I could use some recommendations myself.
Is there a certain city you want to be able to tour with ‘Vices & Virtues’ that you couldn’t with the previous albums?
A: Anywhere in Italy would be sweet. We’ve been almost everywhere, but somehow haven’t been there yet.
Hi guys, I just wanted to know what you have in store for when you go on tour? Will you go back to you theatrical performances similar to what you did when you were touring for AFYCSO???
A:We are still figuring out what our live stage show will be, but it’ll be fun to watch. Guaranteed. Coming up with our stage production and live show is one of our favorite things about being in a band.
I was really excited to hear that Nearly Witches was going to be on V&V, but I was wondering, who wrote it?
A: Nearly Witches started as an idea when we were still a four piece and then got scrapped because that wasn’t the direction the second record was going in. When it came time to write songs for V&V, I dusted it off and finished it.
Which one of you guys would be panic and which one would be disco’?
A: We often sit down and discuss that for hours on end to no avail. FOE will have the exclusive if we can ever decide.
What was the best concert either have you have ever been to?
A: It’s tough to say, but one of my favorite live bands is Muse. We opened for them when we were in Europe recently, and snuck out to the crowd to watch them. Epic to say the least.
